Edwina "Dina" Suazo was born June 1, 1942 in Espanola, New Mexico.  Our loving and beautiful mom went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 12, 2022.  She was a woman of many artistic talents.

Edwina (Dina) enjoyed going to Church and crafting; she crocheted, knitted, did bead work, embroidery, painted and quilted.  She truly conquered it all.  As well, Dina was an avid reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles and seek and find.   She was a very giving and loving person, she loved to be with her family most of all.  She will be remembered for her kindness and her smile.

Dina was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

She is survived by her daughters, Delila Lovato and husband Frank Lovato, DeAnna Lovato and husband James Lovato; godsons, Rick Suazo and Gabriel Cortez; grandchildren, James Nicholas and wife Corey, Eli Lovato and wife Darlene, Marissa Humbert and husband Mike, Miranda Lovato, Samuel Lovato and wife Prinsilla Molina-Lovato; great grandchildren, Elise and Abraham; future grandbabies, baby Adrian and others; sisters, Lucilla Romero, Bea Suazo-Sanchez and Lorraine Suazo-Garcia; brothers, Larry Suazo and Joseph Suazo; and her many cousins, nieces/nephews and great nieces/nephews who loved and will miss her greatly.

Mass of the Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at San Felipe De Neri Church in Old Town.  The viewing will begin at 9:00am. The Rosary will be recited at 9:30am and the mass will be celebrated at 10:00am. The burial will follow the Mt Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith Blvd. NE.

Pallbearers will be Frank Lovato, Rick Suazo, James Nicholas Lovato, Eli Lovato, Samuel Lovato and Mike Humbert. The honorary pallbearer will be James Lovato.
