Dorothy Mae Pedroncelli "Mae", 82, passed away with family by her bedside on Saturday, September 4, 2021, after a brief illness.

She was preceded in death by her father, Manuel Pedroncelli; step-father, Manuel Mora;  mother, Dorella Mora and sister, Vera Pedroncelli.

Mae is survived by her companion of over 40 years, Laura Olson; brothers, Joseph Wilfred Pedroncelli and Herman Pedroncelli and wife Janet; nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews; as well as other family members and friends who loved and will miss her.

Mae had a compassionate heart for animals and took in any stray - abandoned roosters, chickens, many dogs, a one-eyed cat, and Angelo, the goat. As well she enjoyed painting ceramics with her friends, fixing clocks, and was an avid gardener who loved canning her home grown fruits and veggies.

A celebration of her life will be held privately at a later date and her remains will be scattered, per her request.  Please think of her as the sun rises over her beloved Sandia Mountains.  As Mae would say when she ended calls or conversations….
