Dorothy G. Padilla, 72, our beloved mother, grandmother, sister aunt and friend, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 25, 2025.

She was born on March 23, 1953, in San Pablo, New Mexico to Edwardo and Fedelina Montano who preceded her in death.

Dorothy will be remembered for being the best homemaker. She loved to cook, take care of and provide for everyone's needs. Reading and baking were also some of her favorite things, however, her greatest joy came from spending time with her treasured family.

Dorothy is survived by her son, Victor Padilla and wife Amy Baca-Padilla; daughter, Prescilla "Liz" Padilla and partner Carlos Tapia; her five grandchildren, Paris Rubio, Dominique and Harmony Padilla, Everleigh and Malakai Tapia; her two sisters, Gloria Lopez and Patsy Carrillo all of the Santa Fe Area; brother, Steve Montaño and wife Peggy of Chama, New Mexico as well as many nieces, nephews, god children and friends who loved and will miss her greatly.

A celebration of Dorothy's life will be held At St Anne Parish, 511 Alicia St. Santa Fe, NM., on Monday, May 19, 2025. The Rosary will be recited at 9:00 am. The Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am.  The burial will follow at Rosario Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
