Diana Padilla went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 2, 2025. She was born on June 1, 1963, in Hobbs, New Mexico.

Diana loved spending time with her family especially with her husband of 44 years Rudy Padilla.

Diana was preceded in death by her biological father Benjamin Dutchover; brother Manuel Gonzales; sister Brenda Dutchover; and grandson Michael Padilla.

Diana will be remembered for her kindness, her character, her big heart and love for her family. Her laughter and wisdom were gifts to everyone who knew her.

Diana is survived by her husband Rudy Padilla; daughter Crystal Marfil and husband John Marfil; son Kevin Padilla; and daughter Lucille Padilla; mother and stepfather Juanita Dutchover and Elpidio Gonzales; sister Regina Castillo; brother Benjamin Dutchover; several nieces and nephews; and 5 grandchildren Kendra Marfil, Aleicia Padilla, Josiah Marfil, Alianna Padilla and Angelica Padilla. She had just welcomed her first great grandson Koah Marfil.

"It's difficult to imagine a world without her bubbly personality and playful spirit. She had a way of making the ordinary extraordinary, while her absence is grieved, comfort can be found in the vibrant life she lived and the joy she brought."

A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 28, 2025 at 10:00 am at Legacy Church – East Campus, 4701 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109.
