In Loving Memory of David Cory Srader

1957 – 2025

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of David Cory Srader, who left us on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at the age of 67 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

David was a man of warmth, humor, and strength. He worked in construction and attended some college, but his true legacy lies in the relationships he nurtured and the memories he created with those he loved.

He is survived by his daughter, Rachelle Srader; his son, Justin Srader; his brother, Tim Srader; and his sisters, Diane Hatch and Vivian Shaffer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronnie Srader and Virginia Snyder.

To his children, David was a source of perpetuating joy and enlightenment. He brought life to a room with his infectious laugh that resonated among others. David was charming in the quietest, most unforgettable way who won the hearts of many. Together they shared road trips, music, hikes, and countless Taco Bell bean burritos. With his son, he bonded over video games and off-roading adventures. A proud Dallas Cowboys fan, David found joy in life's simple pleasures—especially spending time in his garden during his final days.

A viewing to honor his life and memory will be held on Wednesday, May 21st , 2025 from 2:00 to 2:30 PM in the Chapel of Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th St. NW. ABQ., NM.

David touched many lives with his kindness, his humor, and his unwavering love for family. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
