David Wayne
"Dave" Glaser
Jun 22, 1953 — Mar 23, 2025
Albuquerque
David Wayne "Dave" Glaser went home to be with the Lord on March 23, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. A man of resilience, Dave was a cancer survivor who lived his life with strength, passion, and an unwavering love for those closest to him.
From a young age, Dave was a protector. He always looked out for his brothers and sisters, ensuring their safety and well-being. As he grew, this protective nature extended to his own family, shielding his wife and children with love, guidance, and unwavering support.
Dave is survived by his loving wife, Loretta, who stood by his side as his devoted caretaker through all his battles with sickness. Their love was a testament to faith, commitment, and unwavering support, a bond that carried them through life's challenges and joys.
A true outdoorsman, Dave found joy in hunting and fishing, always eager to share his knowledge and stories with friends and family. His green thumb was unmatched, and his garden was a testament to his dedication, earning him multiple blue-ribbon awards. But more than the accolades, he cherished the simple pleasure of growing and nurturing life from the soil.
Dave had a gift for creativity in the kitchen, always delighting his family with his inventive and delicious recipes. His loved ones will forever remember the warmth and laughter shared over meals he crafted with care.
Above all, Dave loved worshipping the Lord. His faith was the foundation of his life, guiding him through every season with trust and gratitude. He found joy in praising God and sharing His love with others. Even in the face of sickness, Dave always would respond with, "God is good."
His greatest joy was his family, Loretta, Emilio, Eliana, Jessica, Emilio David, Laiden, Magnolia, and Hannah—who brought light and happiness into his life. He loved them deeply and leaves behind cherished memories that will be treasured for generations to come. His family surrounded him while he entered the Lord's presence.
Dave's legacy is one of love, perseverance, and faith. While his presence will be deeply missed, his impact on the lives of those who knew him will never fade.
