Dario P. Gurule, 71, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 9, 2025.  He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family.  He was preceded in death by his son Dario P. Gurule Jr.; Mother Angie Chavez and brother Michael Gurule.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years Angie Gurule; daughter Kimberly Gurule; son Mark Gurule, 11 grandchildren Zachary, Maleah, Amaya, Zion, Katya, Mark Jr., Serenity, Alysia, Elijah, Isaiah and Mariah; four great grandchildren; one sister Sylvia and husband Johnny Estrada.

Dario loved the Lord, and served faithfully at Legacy Church in the follow up ministry and the SOS ministry.  He was always telling people about Jesus and was eager to lead others in prayer and to teach them the word of God.   He also had a passion for music and art.  He was a talented musician who mastered the guitar, drums and keyboard as well as an excellent cartoonist.   He spent much of his time outdoors, always planting something in his yard, and enjoyed spending time and playing with his grandchildren.

Our hearts are heavy, we will miss him dearly, but we look forward to being reunited with him again in heaven.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Legacy Church - East Campus, 4701 Wyoming Blvd. NE.  Interment will follow at the Fairview Memorial Park,  700 Yale Blvd. SE.
