In Loving Memory of
Curtis Lynn (Jeep) Westbrook Jr.
January 12, 1943 – April 8, 2026
Curtis Lynn (Jeep) Westbrook passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at his home in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Anita Sue; his two sons, Curt (Jeannine) Westbrook of Albuquerque and Doyle Westbrook (Debbie) of Clovis, NM; his granddaughter, Wednesday King (Brendan) of Clovis, NM, and two great grandsons. He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Alicia, just two months ago on February 8 of this year.
Curtis Lynn Jr. was born in Oakland County, California, January 12, 1943. He received his nickname Jeep at an early age, when, excited to see his father coming home at night driving a military vehicle, he began to shout "Jeep, Jeep, Jeep" each time that vehicle rounded the corner. Jeep moved with his parents, Lynn and Jesteen Westbrook, to Clovis, NM, when he was five years old. He attended Clovis schools and graduated from Clovis High School in 1961 before working at the Santa Fe Railroad. Jeep retired in 2003 after 42 + years at the BNSF, working in Clovis, Belen, and Albuquerque.
Jeep was a lover of fast things…motorcycles, boats, cars, hot rods, and ATVs. He spent many summers at Conchas Lake with his family and best friends George and Dianne Davis. He also enjoyed the 1939 Chevrolet that he built, off roading in his Artic Cat and going to ATV jamborees in Utah, and more recently traveling in the motor home across the United States. Jeep and Anita also enjoyed being snowbirds every winter in Phoenix.
