Our beloved daughter, Cristyn Terese Thompson passed away on March 28, 2022, at home with her family by her side. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Earl and Judy Thompson, Phil and Mary Combies, and Joe Manuel Romero. Cristyn is survived by her adored son, Kai Fisher; her parents, Carol Romero and her husband, Vicente Romero; Earl Thompson and his wife, Kathryn Thompson; siblings Erica Chavez, Carli Romero, Justin Romero, Cassidy Thompson, Courtney Thompson, Lauren Thompson, Alexandra Thompson, and William Thompson; grandparents Bob and Venethal Toberman; and many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
Cristyn was an independent and vivacious woman who deeply valued the importance of family. Cristyn was born on October 15, 1979 in Georgetown, Texas. She attended Highland High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was an employee of Southwest Airlines for 14 years. Cristyn loved to travel both domestically and internationally, and always made it a point to visit her family and friends as often as possible. She will always be loved and profoundly missed by her extended family and by countless friends. Her legacy will live on in the memories and actions of both her family and many friends.
