Corina Josefina Rodriguez (née Sanchez), lovingly known as Cora, passed away on August 14, 2024, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, at the age of 90. She was born on December 28, 1933, in Dixon, NM. Cora dedicated much of her life to the community as a teacher's assistant for Albuquerque Public Schools.

Cora was a devout member of St. Therese Catholic Church and actively participated in both her church choir and the city choir, sharing her love for music and fellowship.

She is survived by her daughter, Marlene Brockmann; son-in-law, John Brockmann; grandchildren Dominique Leyva, Jose Leyva, Shante Rodriguez, and April Luksan; thirteen great grandchildren; sister, Emily Kinzy; and brother, David Sanchez. Cora was preceded in death by her parents, Cora and Juan Sanchez; brothers Willie, Ernest, and Steve Sanchez; son, Gerald Rodriguez; and granddaughter, Alicia Ruybal.

Services to honor and celebrate her life will include a Rosary, followed by a Funeral Mass and a reception at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery at 2:30 PM the same day.

Cora's commitment to education, her deep faith, and her love of music left a lasting impact on all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered in the hearts of her family, friends, and community.
