In Loving Memory of Christopher Thomas Hunt

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Chris, who passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at the age of 50.

Chris was born on February 21, 1976, in Albuquerque, NM. Throughout his life, he was known for his kindness, strength, generosity, and unwavering love for family and friends. He touched the lives of many through his compassion, humor, and willingness to help others.

Chris is survived by his wife Vivian Blea-Hunt; step-daughter Mariah Blea; mother Catherine Marburger and husband Monroe; sister Marie-Noelle and husband Logan; nephew Rowan; niece Emersyn; brother Nathan Steele; five dogs Bruno, Trinity, Speedy, Buster and Butterscotch; and one cat Ladybug.

He was an amazing husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Above all, Chris was a devoted man of God whose faith was the foundation of his life. He loved attending church and found strength and peace in his relationship with God. Known for his infectious laugh and warm smile, Chris was a friend to everyone he met and was loved by many. He had a special love for his dogs, who were cherished members of his family. In his free time, he enjoyed eating, shopping, cars, and a good nap, but nothing brought him more joy than spending time with the people he loved.

Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His love, laughter, and legacy will never be forgotten.
