Christine J. Gallegos, 65, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 27 ^th , 2021.

Christine loved to cook. Her favorite was to cook large meals for her family around the holidays. She made the best tamales and homemade rolled taquitos. She loved a good steak and would always fill her plate with more than she could eat. She enjoyed going to bingo and it was a sight to see her play up to five bingo cards. She also enjoyed a good trip to Laughlin or Las Vegas to play the slot machines or bingo out there. Most of all she enjoyed seeing and spending time with her son and grandchildren.

Christine was preceded in death by her mother and father, Helen and Casey Gallegos; sisters, Eileen and Geraldine, and brothers James "Jr" and Christopher "Frito". She is survived by her only son, John Gallegos and three beautiful grandchildren, Jasmine, John, and Isabella; two sisters, Linda and Lillian;  sister-in-law, Dorothy; brother in law, Victor and many nieces, nephews as well as great nieces, nephews and extended family.

Services will take place at Holy Family Church on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at 9:00 am.
