Cheryl Marie Rendace, 63, lifelong resident of Albuquerque, NM, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, October 30, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.
Cheryl was born on February 14, 1959, to Henry Dale Greene and Mildred June Moore in Albuquerque. She graduated from Valley High School in 1978 and worked many years in the construction industry and later as a loving caregiver.
Cheryl was a devoted member of the Alameda Baptist Church of Albuquerque, where she served on several committees in various capacities` and operated the audio/visual equipment during Sunday services. Her faith was strong, and she led a life dedicated to the Lord. Cheryl also enjoyed gardening, cooking and traveling.
She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Mitch Rendace, of Albuquerque; nieces Brenda Hood and her husband Thomas, and Glenda Greene, all of Lordsburg, NM; great niece Brittany Gregston and her husband Larry, of Lordsburg; great nephew Ethan Aguilera of Lordsburg; great-great nephew Sebastien Gregston of Lordsburg; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Matt and Joyce Rendace of Pocatello, Idaho; and many cousins, lifelong friends and her loving church family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Terry Greene; and sister-in-law Deborah Greene.
A celebration of Cheryl's life will be held on Monday, November 7, 2022 at 10 a.m. at the Alameda Baptist Church, 8818 2 nd Street NW, Albuquerque NM. Burial will take place immediately following at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd NE, Albuquerque.
Serving as pallbearers will be Thomas Hood, Matt Rendace, Chuck Jackson, Clarence Montoya, Jeff Jackson and Brad Selva. Honorary pallbearers are Larry Moore, Randy Griffin, Louis Montenegro, Steve Martinez, Stan Selva and Cole Selva.
