Charles Sanchez of Albuquerque, New Mexico, our beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at the age of 70. He was born on November 4, 1954, to Mary and Joe Sanchez, who welcomed him into heaven.

Charles was an avid hunter and fisherman who found peace and joy in the great outdoors, especially in the mountains. His love for nature was matched by his passion for electronics. He retired from the sheet metal union and the pipe fitters union after a 44 year commitment to his career.

Charles' legacy will live on through his daughter, Marie (Adam), and his two grandsons, Daniel and Zachary, who brought him endless joy and pride. He is also survived by his siblings, Raymond, Rosalie, Edwin (Frankie), Deborah and Yvette (Paul), along with numerous extended family members and friends who will miss his humor, warmth, and kindness.

Though Charles is no longer with us, his spirit and the memories he created will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Rest in peace, Charles, and may your love for the mountains and your beloved dog Moose continue to inspire all who knew you.

Services will be held at Holy Family Church, 562 Atrisco Dr SW. Albuquerque, NM 87105, on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. The visitation will begin at 8:00 am. The Rosary will be recited at 8:30 am and the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 am. A reception will follow at Marbella's Event Center, 1720 Bridge Blvd SW.
