Charles Lloyd Menard, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on June 28, 2026, at 85. Born on September 21, 1940, in New York, Lloyd was the cherished son of Charles and Rose Menard.

Lloyd's journey through life was marked by his adventurous spirit and warm heart. He was a gypsy at heart, traversing the expanse of the United States, leaving a trail of cherished friendships in his wake. His infectious sense of humor and love for a good joke endeared him to many, leaving smiles long after he had moved on to new horizons.

Lloyd served proudly in the Army Reserves for six years, instilling a lifelong sense of duty and camaraderie. His career began in printing at American Rubber Type in Long Island, where he worked for 19 years before transitioning to a successful career in sales. Eventually, he moved to Albuquerque, working in the construction business until retiring in 2011.

A lover of golf and handball, Lloyd spent countless hours on the greens and courts of New York. Predeceased by his wife, Kay Menard, his parents, his brother Meredith, and his sister Dorothy, he now joins them in eternal peace.

Lloyd is survived by his brother, John Menard, and wife Debbie, sister Sally Gray, children Michael Menard and wife Carolyn, Barbara Morowski and husband James, Jennifer Swanson and husband Scott, grandchildren Evone Martinez, Alex and Samantha Morowski, Dillon and Daniel Swanson, and great-grandchildren Mya, Marcus, and Gabby Richardson. He is also remembered by his longtime girlfriend, Theresa Chavez.

Lloyd's life was a testament to joy, family, and friendship, leaving a legacy of love and laughter. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
