Celestina Garcia "Tina", was born in Cuba, New Mexico on July 16, 1941.  She passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021 in Albuquerque at the age of 80.

Tina loved music, playing the guitar, and singing. She was the best cook and loved cooking for everyone, loved to travel and truly loved being around her treasured family.

She graduated from Cuba high school, was part of the praying mothers at Church and a longtime parishioner of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Garcia and by her daughter, Mary Garcia.

Tina is survived by her sister, Leoba Valdez; her son, Jerry Garcia; her daughter, Elizabeth Garcia; granddaughters, Angelica Vizcaino, Tinamarie Perez, Therese Baca, Loriann Montoya,  Aaliyah Lopez  and Neveah Garcia; grandsons, Anthony Baca, Johnny Lopez, Elias Lopez,  great granddaughters, Isabel Vizcaino, Andreya Baca  and, Auriella Perez; great grandson,  Elijah Perez; as well as many other beloved family members and friends who loved and will miss her greatly.

Services will be held at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 4 ^th and Alameda NW., on Thursday, November 4 ^th , 2021. The visitation will begin at 8:00 am. The Rosary will be recited at 8:30 am and the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 am. Buriak will follow at the San Carlos Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Anthony Baca, Patrick Montaño, Johnny Lopez, Pat Lucero and Joseph Sanchez. Honorary pallbearers will be Tony Pacheco, Jorge Davila, Adrian Vizcaino and Elias Lopez.
