Cathy Rose Ortega was born December 23, 1959. She passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021.

She will be remembered as a sweet, kind and intelligent person.

Cathy always placed others needs before her own and had the most beautiful prayers during our family gatherings. She was a social butterfly and her laugh and smile would fill the room! Most of all, she had the "green thumb"; her plants and flowers would grow so big and beautifully that you would think that she had a nursery of her own.

Cathy was preceded in death by her father, Joe Martinez, and is survived by her mother Vivian Martinez, her children, Renee Ortega, Melissa Martinez, Romann Martinez, Rebecca Ortega and Angel Ortega; as well as her grandchildren, sisters, brothers and all family and friends who loved and will miss her.

A memorial service will be held at St Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 820 Broadway Blvd SE. Albuquerque, NM. 87107 on Wednesday, September 15th 2021 at 9:00 am.
