Carol Ann Sedillo Romero "Kitzie", was born August 1, 1956 in Las Vegas, New Mexico. She passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2021.

Carol was a devout Catholic and currently attended Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church.

She will be remembered as a loving sister, mother, teacher and friend. Carol loved to crochet and sew and was an avid Elvis Presley fan.  As well, she loved to cook, especially her awesome breakfast burritos.

Carol was raised in Las Vegas New Mexico and graduated from Robertson High School in 1974.  She went on to attend New Mexico Highlands University, graduating in 1984 and was very involved in her community.

In the early 1990's Carol moved to Albuquerque to pursue her teaching career, where she taught in the Albuquerque Public Schools and at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic School.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Anselmo and Marie Sedillo and by her infant siblings; brother, Benedict; sisters, Jennifer Olive, Pita Marlene and Geri Marie.

She is survived by her loving son, Anselmo Sedillo Jojola and his father Larry Jojola; brother, Robert G. Sedillo; nephews, Bradley and Tony Sedillo; uncle, Felix Sedillo; several cousins and many other family members and friends who loved and will miss her.

Services will be held at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, 811 Guaymas Pl. NE. (Lomas and Tennessee NE), on Friday, March 19, 2021. A visitation will begin at 10:00 am. The Rosary will be recited at 10:30 am and the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am. The interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith Blvd. NE..
