Carmen J. Gallegos, age 67, born in Flagstaff, Arizona and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico passed away on October 16, 2022 after a long and courageous battle with ALS.

She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Alex Gallegos; daughter, Renee Flores and husband Tony; son, Ryan Gallegos and wife Velma; four grandsons whom she loved so very much; Daniel Gallegos, Anthony Gallegos, Mateo Flores, and Alejandro Flores; sister, Corrine Wells husband Doug; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends

Carmen was preceded in death by her parents, Lorenzo and Bennie Vigil; brother, Lawrence Vigil; sisters, Roseabelle Sena, and Vivian Lopez.

Carmen worked for the federal government her entire career only taking a few years away to start her own business with her husband in Old Town. She touched so many lives that during her final hours, her bedside was filled with so much love and admiration.

A rosary will be recited on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at 10:30 am at San Martin de Porres church with a Mass of the Resurrection to be celebrated right after at 11:00 am. Burial will follow the mass at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Reception to follow.
