Brenda Sue MacFarlane died December 28 ^th , 2021 at the age of 60.  Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Claude "Gene" and Dorothy Dobbs.  Brenda is survived by her husband of 43 years, James "Jimmy" MacFarlane, siblings Jerry Dobbs, JoAnn Bruss, Barbara Strange, and Patsy Geib.  She was the mother of two sons, Russell and Jeffrey, and grandmother of six.

Brenda was born in Houston, Texas on October 21, 1961, the youngest of her surviving siblings.  Brenda and Jimmy married on June 17, 1978.  She graduated from Douglas MacArthur High School as a member of the National Honor Society.  While in Houston, she gave birth to two sons, Russell and Jeffrey.

Brenda had multiple jobs for different companies but never found her true calling until later.  In the summer of 1999, she moved with her family to Los Alamos, New Mexico.  Shortly after, she found her career calling as a School Bus Driver.  She began as a substitute driver while working for the Los Alamos Public Schools.  She transferred positions in 2014 to work for the Public Education Department of New Mexico.  In her position, she spent tireless hours at work serving New Mexico.  In 2019 she accepted her final position working as the Transportation Manager for the Bloomfield School District.

Brenda spent her adult life as a devout Jehovah's Witness.  She spent time as a Pioneer in Houston, preaching the Good News of Jehovah's coming Kingdom to others.  She continued sharing the Good News in service throughout the years.

She was selfless, caring, out-going, and always willing to help.  Her presence will be greatly missed by her her husband, siblings, and grandchildren Ryker, Rayleigh, Ethan, Rowan, Ronan, and Morgan.
