It is with deep sorrow and loving remembrance that we announce the passing of Bobby Gurule, who departed this life on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at the age of 83.

Bobby was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend whose kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love touched the lives of everyone who knew him. Born on June 18, 1943, in Albuquerque, NM.

Throughout his life, Bobby took great pride in enjoying spending time with family, sharing stories, offering guidance, and creating memories that will be in our hearts forever. His gentle spirit, warm smile, and generous heart made him a source of comfort and inspiration for those around him.

He is survived by his daughter Beatrice Melendez, Albert & Lydia Baca, Charlie Gurule and Kathy Garcia. His children Brenda, Erica, Monica, MaryAnn and Bobby, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and other loving family members and friends.

Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we are grateful for the love, laughter, and lessons he shared throughout his life. He will live on in our hearts and in the memories we hold dear.

Visitations will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4 Th. St. NW, Albuquerque, NM 87107. Family and friends are invited to gather in celebration of his life.
