Benjamin A. Cruz, 82, went home to be with the Lord on May 8, 2024. A proud United States Air Force veteran, Benjamin was known for his humility, loving nature, and kindness to all he encountered.

Throughout his life, Benjamin loved spending quality time with friends and family while doing all he could for others. He found joy in the simple pleasures: savoring his morning coffee with ginger snaps, reading newspapers and books, solving sudoku and jigsaw puzzles, rockhounding, and enjoying the beauty of nature.

"Pops" life was a blessing, his memories a treasure; he is missed beyond measure and was loved beyond words.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Santa Fe National Cemetery with full military honors provided by the American Legion Post 13 Honor Guard and the U.S. Air Force.
