Anthony D. Montoya was born March 11, 1965 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. A lifelong resident of Albuquerque, he passed away on Monday, August 7, 2023 at the age of 58, surrounded by his loving family.

Anthony was an active member of New Beginnings Church and of the Old Antique Bike Club, as he loved building and restoring antique bicycles. Anthony will be remembered as an avid Denver Bronco fan and a true people person who had many friends and loved ones. He will be greatly missed.

Anthony was preceded in death by his grandparents who raised him, Ada and Leopolo Griego; brothers, Kenny Montoya and Frank Montoya; sister Dianne Montoya and by his cousin, Leo Duran.

He is survived by his mother, Hilda Griego; father, Frank Montoya; wife, Janette Montoya; daughters, Felicia Montoya, Anna Montoya-Ortiz and husband Jose; grandchildren, Janessa Montoya, Daisha Gomez, Alina Soza, Ramon McGuiness, Alessio Soza and Mariana Ortiz; sister, Debbie Blea; brother, Mike Blea; as well as other family members and friends who loved and will miss him greatly.

Services will be held at New Beginnings Church, 4770 Montgomery Blvd. NE. on Thursday, August 17, 2023. The visitation will begin at 10:30 am. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 am with the burial following at Mt Calvary Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Ramon McGuiness, Jose Ortiz, Billy Utter, Chris Anaya, Kevin and Raul.
