In Loving Memory of

Anthony D Garduño

1953 - 2025

We bid farewell to our father and hero, Anthony D. Garduño, who departed from this world in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on Thursday, September 25th, 2025, at the age of 71. He was cherished and loved by his family and friends. A pillar of strength and a beacon of love, his absence leaves a void in our hearts.

Anthony was born in Las Vegas, New Mexico. He graduated from Robertson High School and attended Highlands University. He became a draftsman at Sandia National Laboratories. He later became skilled as a business facilitator, business development, marketing, and would provide financial and insurance services. He was a licensed insurance agent for over 40 years. He had a gift to inspire others and touched many peoples lives. He was a very talented musician who played the guitar and even recorded his own albums. He was a hall of fame softball player and avidly loved golf. He cherished his grandchildren and even inspired their athletic pursuits. He was a full time grandpa and he loved his children, family, and friends. He leaves behind a strong legacy of cultural preservation and perseverance.

He was preceded into Heaven by his parents, Arsenio and Maria Garduño; his lifetime partner, Cathy Bellais Garduño and by his nephew, Angelo Garduño.

Anthony is survived by his daughter, Angelina (Alex); adopted son, Jason; godson, Antonio; stepdaughter, Catherine; grandchildren, Christoper, Annick and Fransisco;  great-grandchildren, Elias, Lluvianna, Annmarie and Mykle; brothers, Arsenio (Loretta), Lawrence and Raul (Susan); sisters, Loretta, Maxine and Linda; uncle, Julian Smith; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, Christian brothers and sisters.

To commemorate his remarkable life and the memories we cherish, a Celebration of Life Service will be held at Albuquerque Bible Church 320 Montano Rd NW Albuquerque, New Mexico 87107 on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM.
