Albuquerque
Anna Olanda Lucero, "My Beautiful Love", was born on November 23rd 1974. She passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at the age of 50. Anna, an only child, was born in Omaha, Nebraska to her mother, Victoria Rosemary Tapia and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She went to various local schools, while growing up in Albuquerque.
Anna will forever be remembered for her very beautiful smile. She lit up the room anywhere she went. Her heart was made of gold she cared for all humans and creatures. Anna was always prepared to give and share whatever she could if it would brighten others days. Such a beautiful soul, Anna will be greatly missed!
Anna was a mother to five children; two sons, Michael Lucero and Lawrence Ray Gallegos; three daughters, Raquel, April and Brianna with the youngest being Anna's son, Lawrence, whom together, with Tony, from the age of 7 ½ raised Lawrence and whom she was so proud of the man he has become and who will be graduating from UNM in May of 2026 with a Bachelors Degree in Film Production. She is also survived by her uncle on her mother's side, Delphi Lucero; cousins, Mia Dimas and Ramsey Ramirez. As a special note, Anna also had cousin named Trent Dimas whom won a Gold medal in 1992 in the Barcelona Spain Olympics, as a gymnast on Horizontal Bar. It was the fist gold medal won by an American since 1932 on foreign soil since World War 2. Anna didn't stay in contact with cousins, but spoke about them often.
She enjoyed watching various TV shows, going to the theater to watch movies, loved eating-out, taking trips with family members and her Tony. She enjoyed helping out with Mama Gomez and of course visiting with Mama Vicky in Taos whenever possible. She always looked forward to visiting with special aunts and cousins who loved her very much and always spoke highly of our Anna. She also loved spending time with her ten grandchildren, whenever possible; six grandsons, Dominic, Isaac, Baby Leo, Aidan, Elijah, and Xzavier and four granddaughters, Isabella, twins Akasha and Nisha and Star. As well, Anna had a few brothers and sisters-in-law that she inherited with her soulmate, Tony.
Anna was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary Vigil Lucero; aunt, Julie Dimas; brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Yolanda Gomez; father-in-law, Leopoldo Gomez; brother-in-law, Blas Jerome Gomez and by her step-daughter, Victoria M Tsosie Gomez.
