Ann Libassi

March 24, 1947 - September 12, 2025

While surrounded by loved ones, Ann Libassi was called home by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 12th 2025. Ann, who was a devout Christian, led a life of faith and served as an example of truth to all who knew and loved her.  Her influence and faith will continue to shine brightly with her children and grandchildren for generations to come.

Ann was a native of Paisley Scotland who immigrated to the United States at the age of four with her late Father and Mother, Robert and Isabella Howieson. Ann spent much of her early adult years raising her three children and managing an apartment complex for low income families in Racine, WI.  Ann moved to Rio Rancho, New Mexico with her family in 1983 where she worked as a land development administrator in the maps department for Amrep until her retirement.  For many years Ann attended Calvary Church of Albuquerque which was her home away from home. Ann's love for the word of God was shared with her family, friends, and many others who looked to her for guidance.

In her later years Ann moved in with her daughter, Robyn and two grandchildren, Micaiah and Ciana, who helped care for her into her last days. Ann is survived by her husband of twenty three years, Jack Libassi; her children, Andrea, Robyn, and Dominic; grandchildren, Jacqueline Ann, Micaiah, Ciana, Dominic Anthony, and Damon Michael as well as her great grandchildren, Koda Franklin, and Jayton Lane.

Ann's celebration of life will be held at Calvary Church of Albuquerque, 4001 Osuna Rd. NE. ABQ., NM. 87109, on Friday, April 10th, 2026 at 11:00 am where all are welcome to attend.
