In Loving Memory of Andrea Sierra
March 28, 1932 – March 9, 2026
"A fierce and tireless force, Andrea conquered every obstacle in her path with unwavering strength. Though she is gone, her light remains a guiding force, inspiring us to keep the family bond she cherished so deeply. Her heart belonged entirely to her legacy—her seven children, fifteen grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren, who were her greatest pride and her ultimate purpose."
Andrea Sierra passed away on March 9, 2026, at the age of 93. She will be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose greatest joy in life was her family.
She is survived by her children: Rene Sierra and Silvia Sierra; Herman Sierra and Mary Sierra; Mapi Sierra; Martha Sierra and Leroy Lucero; Susanna Reza and Manuel Reza; Gustavo Sierra and Sharie Sierra; and Lydia Hurt and Jake Hurt.
Andrea was also blessed with fifteen grandchildren: Andres, Gaby, Isis, Luis Carlos, Adrian, Ericka, Herman, Alisa, David, Estevan, Julia, Matthew, John Paul, Sophia, and Amelie.
Her legacy continues through her fifteen great-grandchildren: Margaret, Maeve, Nicolas, Theo, Olivia, Avery, Andre, Sophia, Rayhanna, Salma, Jibreel, Elena, Eli, Annabella, and Christiano.
Andrea was the last of her siblings. She is also remembered by extended family, including her sister in law, Cuca Mesta, who still lives.
Andrea had a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life. She loved gardening, spending time in nature, sewing, and working with ceramics. She enjoyed sitting among others and people-watching, but above all else, her greatest happiness came from being surrounded by her children and family.
Her strength, warmth, and love will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 20, 2026, at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. A Rosary will follow in the Chapel of Mt. Calvary Cemetery and conclude with the burial also at Mt. Calvary.
