It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ancilla Quintana, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 5th, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones.

Ancilla was a woman of remarkable strength and compassion, the embodiment of kindness, love, and generosity.

As a devoted mother, she was fiercely protective of her children, always putting their needs before her own. She created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and love. Her love extended far beyond her family, touching the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

As a nana, she nurtured her grandchildren with the same tenderness and devotion she gave her children.

Ancilla's sense of community was unwavering. She gave generously to those around her, whether by driving school-aged children, lending a listening ear, or offering a helping hand to those in need. Her love for her community was evident in the way she brought people together, always making others feel valued and appreciated.

She has been reunited in Heaven with her beloved parents, Dolores and Eddie Garcia and her brothers, Frank LaGrange, Richard LaGrange and Chris Garcia. Ancilla is survived by her children. John Christopher Quintana, Frank Quintana and wife Amanda, Daniel Quintana and Makaila Quintana; her grandchildren, Leah Martinez, Frankie Quintana, Mariah Brown, Samantha Brown, Lucas Quintana and Logan Quintana; grand-puppies, Missie and Mamas; her siblings, Edward Garcia, Yvonne and husband Mike Montano, Lupe and husband Charles Chavez; aunt, Frances Morales and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Ancilla will be remembered for her unwavering love and devotion to her family, as well as her generous spirit and the warmth she shared with her community. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and compassion that will continue to inspire all who knew her. Rosary and Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, November 25th, 2024 at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Bernalillo, NM at 10:00am.
