Amanda Charlene Baca "Mandy" was born December 29, 1984 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 25, 2021 in Albuquerque.

Mandy will be remembered as a free-spirited person who was fiercely independent, loved all types of music, cared deeply for her family and for others.

She loved her close-knit family very much and was always trying to help others; sharing and giving and taking care of people more than she even took care of herself. Mandy's generosity, love and care will always be fondly remembered and treasured.

Mandy was preceded in death by her brother, Jacob Baca and her cousin, Chad Sachs as well as her maternal grandfather, Mike Gurule Jr.

She is survived by her children, Dominic Coffield and Francisco (Kiko) Chavez; parents, Carlos and Mary Baca and Lonnie and Lydia (Gurule) Sutton; sisters, Jessica Scime and husband Mark, Valerie Marin and husband Adolfo. She is also survived by her siblings, Zack and Lexi Baca, as well as Nick Gibson and Jenny Janke, Chad Sutton and Cody (Melody) Sutton and numerous nephews and nieces; her grandparents, Helen Baca, Manuel Baca, Frances Gurule and Frank Gallegos; as well as many other dear family members and friends who loved and will miss her greatly.

Services will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 619 Copper Ave NW, Albuquerque, NM 87102, on Saturday, August 7, 2021. A rosary will be recited at 9:00 am.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am following with interment at Sunset Memorial Park.

Due to the circumstances of COVID 19 and the Delta Variant, the family will not be hosting a reception.  Donations may be made to the St. Martin's Hospitality Center in honor of Amanda at the following link:
