Alfredo will be remembered as a beloved husband , father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend to many.  He lived most of his life in Chilili, after moving there from Estancia at the age of 16, where he met and married his wife of 63 years Lena Ortiz.  They had their three sons and raised them into upright men.  Alfredo's work ethic and kindness were instilled in his family and will leave a legacy for many years to come. Alfredo was the example of "Love the Lord your God with all your heart" and "love your neighbor" (Mark 12:30-31).  He was kind, funny, generous and welcoming to all who wanted to sit and enjoy a good conversation.  Above all Alfredo was a man of God, he believed in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, his faith kept him strong through all the trials and tribulations life threw at him.  Alfredo will be greatly missed.

During his time in Chilili, Alfredo shared his faith and served his community as a long-standing member of the Chilili Church Choir, organizer of La Posadas de Chilili, and as a member of the Chilili Rodeo Club.
