Alex Salazar, age 57, passed away on May 4, 2025, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Born on August 14, 1967, Alex was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque and a proud graduate of Rio Grande High School, Class of 1985. He is survived by his beloved wife Monica Salazar; children Crystal Velasquez and her husband Arlie, Amber Salazar and Andres Salazar and his wife Santana; his cherished grandchildren Neveah, Francisco, Mikaela, Jaden, and Bella. He is also survived by his parents Alex Jr. and Helen Salazar; his siblings Lawrence Salazar and Regina Lopez and her husband Brian; his niece Kendra and many other loving family members and friends. Alex was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother. He will be remembered for his warm heart, strong family values, and the joy he brought to those around him. He is preceded in death by his brother Tony Salazar; Grandparents Emmna & Jose Montoya, Candy Molina & Alex Salazar; and countless family whom he is now reunited with. Alex will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
