Adele Marie Moslener (Karlovitz), 91, of Vero Beach FL, formerly of Pittsburgh, PA, died with family on March 14, 2022, in Placitas, NM. Adele was preceded in death by her parents William and Kathryn Moslener, son, Eric Karlovitz and her siblings Kathryn Furman, William Moslener and Carl Moslener.

Adele was born October 26, 1930, in Pittsburgh, PA to William and Kathryn Moslener, the first of four children. She married Bela Alfred Karlovitz in 1952 and was mother to Kathryn Karlovitz (John), Mark Karlovitz, Eric Karlovitz, Anne Karlovitz (Johanna), Matthew Karlovitz and Elizabeth Mason, grandmother to Kim Holl (Steven), Emily Perry (Samuel) and Ryan Mason, great grandmother to Kaia, Evie, Miriam, and Simon.

Adele was a graduate of Mt. Lebanon High School class of 1948, Pennsylvania College for Women (Chatham University) graduating with her Bachelor's degree in French. In her 50s, she attended St. Francis School of Nursing and graduated with a nursing degree.

Adele traveled to Germany, Scotland, and Croatia and later enjoyed spontaneous adventures to Alaska, New Mexico, and the East Coast including New York City, North Carolina, Vermont. She was an avid reader of mysteries, The New York Times, and countless magazines. Adele enjoyed taking bike rides along the beach, knitting, and being involved with her church. She treasured her pets and thoroughly cherished time with her dear friends. Adele had a gift for languages which included French, German, and Hungarian.
