Adelaudo "Audie" Elias Romero. Audie Romero was born in Marquez, NM on April 17 ^th ,1934 and was called to meet our Heavenly Father on August 10 ^th ,2021 after a prolonged and courageous illness with dementia and Parkinson's disease. He joined the Navy and honorably served his country for four years.

Audie married the love of his life, Frances Chavez, in 1965 and they were blessed to be married for 56 years.

Audie was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was a barber for 50 years and being a barber brought him so much joy to his life. As well, Audie was an active and faithful member of El Buen Samaritano UMC.

He was preceded in death by his loving son, Daniel. Audie is survived by his wife, Frances; his daughters, Patricia and husband Mike; Yvonne and husband Wilfred, Grace and husband Luis. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; his brother, David; sister, Rose and many loving nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at El Buen Samaritano UMC, 700 Granite Ave NW, Albuquerque, NM 87107 at 11:00 am on Saturday August 21st, 2021.
