Adan Romero Chavez Sr was born January 25, 1933 in San Patricio, New Mexico. He passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 5, 2024.

Adan honorably served his country in the US Army.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Chavez; daughters, Lucinda and Andrea; grandchildren, James and Jolene; his mother and father, many brothers and sisters. Adan leaves behind his children, Adam Chavez Jr. and Tina Padilla; four grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held in the Chapel of Direct Funeral Services on Saturday, December 14, 2024 from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. Interment will take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery on Monday, December 16, 2024 at 10:00 am with US Army Honors
